Welcome to the Penguin Market
The Penguin Market is situated on the corner of Arnold and King Edward St, Penguin with Arnold Street off Penguins Main Street. In the original Penguin School buildings and grounds, the Penguin Market is Tasmania's largest permanent undercover market offering our guests over 80 stalls!
Come along to the Penguin Market and browse a wide range of locally made products created by skilled artisans and artists, such as jewellery, handmade crafts, giftware, Tasmanian timbers and local farm produce along with our well-equipped nursery.
The Penguin Market also has extensive displays of antiques such as furniture, coins, collectors' items and a well-stocked lolly shop or take a look over the range at the crystals minerals and fossil shop or perhaps have your cards read with our on site tarot reader. Also enjoy entertainment every Sunday with talented local musicians performing for the adults and face painting and jumping castle for the kids.
Experience a diverse range of delicious food with the chance to either enjoy your lunch in our undercover food court, or just relax with a cool drink or coffee, in our outdoor entertainment area. Perhaps visit the ice cream bar for a treat! The Penguin Market also has its own licensed wine bar.
The Penguin Market is well positioned, halfway between the big centres of Burnie and Devonport, minimal distance from Ulverstone and in the middle of the Food Bowl of Tasmania's richest agricultural region.
